Two weeks ago there was a man trimming the trees and bushes at the children's day care as we arrived that morning.

Today we are walking up the sidewalk and Ethan turns and looks at the tree and says, "Mommy that tree looks pretty today. It looks good."

He's right, it did!

Breakfast at daycare 8-23-13

Conversation on the way to daycare this morning:
Ethan said: Tonight is Friday night Shabbat Mommy.
I said: Yes Ethan! You are right. We are going to have a special Shabbat.
Ethan responded: Challah Mommy. Ethan and Roofie like Challah on Shabbat. Daddy likes it too. And Mommy likes Challah. Nana and Mimi and Alvin like Challah too.
I said: Does Nate like Challah?
Ethan replied: No, Nafan have no teef. Silly Mommy.

How could the day start any better?

Ethan: Mommy Ethan dreamed about trucks.

Ethan: I like Shabbat music Mommy.
Ethan: I like Thomas music too.
Elissa: Ethan, sorry we don't have any Thomas CDs.
Ethan: Buy them Mommy, buy them.

The Wayne Today and The Jewish Standard

My name is Nate and I am 3 months and 3 weeks old. I wear 9-12 month clothes. I just found my hands and love to chew on them. I love to be tickled, snuggled, wiggled and have my toes kissed. It's so much fun to watch Ethan and Ruthie run around the room and I can't wait to play with them too. I am just like my big sister because I can get out of the tightest of swaddles and just like my big brother that I love to be held. My favorite part of the day is my warm bath, but I have almost outgrown my baby tub.
